Branding Options

Now that I understand the culture of Lexington, I can develop a brand that represents the city's vibrancy.

Lexington, KY Branding Option I

 

Lexington Brand Option I emphasizes the blend of urban and rural space. The green rolling hills complement the UK blue city skyline. The abstract rolling hills morph into a horse, reinforcing Lexington as the “Horse Capital of the World.” White and green abstract figures blend with the city skyline to send the message that Lexington is a reflection of its people, and we are one with our city.

Lexington Brand Option II incorporates a winding country road leading the viewer into the city, while reinforcing the gently rolling hills that make Lexington so beautiful. The curvilinear font for “Lexington” blends with the green path bringing elegance to the overall design. The phrase “Byway to the Good Life” paints a picture in the viewer’s mind of
cruising the charming country roads to a city that has it all.
